Under Surveillance

Samantha Davies, who is the famous fashion model thinks about celebrities' rights to privacy that journalist and celebrities should respect to each other. She knows that celebrities' life style  is the most phenomenon thing for paparazzi and she thinks if journalists were considerate adequately, celebrities would be more willing to cooperate with them. I agree with this idea due to they need to each other;  journalists want to report as news for commercial while celebrities want to be more famous. Civil liberties include to protect privacy life, most people don't want to feel under surveillance. Therefore, journalists  should take care of famous people' rights. we say always there is a alternate way to everyone to be happy :)

industrial revolution

What is a industrial revolution?

For me, industrial revolution is one of the most significant events that has affected whole world since 1970s.

Why this photo?

This picture reveals how industrial revolution affected people life, especially children. It is clearly seen there is a little boy who try to use too big machine then himself.  All we know how it makes our life easier, but this photo is tragic one that symbolized it is not important childhood for  boss authority, only important things for them labor.  Children like machines or servants for machines only, so they exploit poor children usually.

cinema

Last Saturday ı went to cinema with my cousin.Movies’ name is ’72.KOĞUŞ’.  koğuş means ‘room in prison’.  it includes very interesting-cathcy stages and some of them affected me much and when ı saw on my dream like nightmare, ı noticed that. Story is about connection between humanity and money, we faced stm cruel  stm tragicomic point when we watched. 72.koğuş has prisoners, called 'adembabalar', have no money...they are always hungry, and have no clothes, no beds..they  reminded me zombies. they are not normal. Moreover it was adapted from Orhan Kemal'S novel. According to movie we can easily notice that famine and poorness were prevailing almost all Turkey because of II.Word War (1940s). and there is a men in there Ahmet Kaptan,is a honest, pure and try to survive and to keep  others alive, helped them in this situation. when a women(Fatma) prisoner came to the same place he fell in love seriously and his life and his decision  changed for her, therefore he did sth that he believed it was wrong, but he did for her...aaannnnddd that is the most interesting stage that ı'm surprised , this women had never known nothing about him; what a unhappy point:(  a lot of bad events they faced. at the end humanity died, Ahmet kaptan died with his dream;his mother, fatma and himself together,  because of strong  winter like other 'adembabalar'... seemingly I told almost whole movie but these all affected me more...and lastly ı may say the story or effects are not real, ı think that allis author's fantasy....

reflecting learning

today we learnt sth abouth 'reflecting learning'..ı want to share my ideas about one part of reflective learning is,feelings..can we find a way of changing negative feelings when we are in
_a classroom activity that it is particularly enjoyable or useful
_in a classroom activity which we dislike
_an aspect of English or the IELTS exam that we are concerned about.

_ In the first situation, ı try to make it better what it possible..if ı find this activity particularly enjoyable or useful, it
must works for me and it should be beneficial..ı should say ı can do it.

_ for second situation, if ı particularly dislike this activity,on the other hand(also) I particularly like some parts..it is good reason to change my feelings to positive. To be optimist works in this time. We try to see full part of glass=)

_ last one, ı should make me believe it is necessary for my education and maybe it effect to me to study.
